Faith

Good afternoon, Ladies! 💕

Early this week, I prayed about something that was heavy on my heart. God answered that prayer, and He answered it in a way that was even better than I had imagined.

I was so thankful... until I shared it with someone. Then the questions and doubts started creeping in.

"Was this really God? How do I know this wasn't just a coincidence?"

This morning, as I was questioning and reflecting on this blessing, He reminded me of the Israelites after He had delivered them from slavery out of Egypt. They became so focused on what they thought they were missing that they lost sight of the God who was faithfully providing for them every single day. God gave them manna, not because they asked for manna specifically, but because He knew exactly what they needed.

As I thought about that story, I realized something about my own heart.

My doubt was causing me to question the very blessing I had just thanked God for. It was almost as if I was pushing away His gift because I couldn't explain how He had done it.

I even caught myself wondering if God might somehow take the blessing back because I had let doubt creep in. Isn't it amazing how quickly our minds can go there? Thankfully, God is far more gracious than our fears.

Sometimes we ask God to move, and when He does, we spend more time analyzing the blessing than simply receiving it with a grateful heart.

Today I am asking the Lord to help me trust Him more, not only while I am waiting for an answer, but also when the answer comes.

Lord, help me not to miss Your blessings because doubt has made me question what You have so graciously provided. Help me receive Your gifts with gratitude, trusting that You know what I need even before I ask.

"Give us this day our daily bread."

Matthew 6:11

💛 Today's MOMENT Question:

Have you ever looked back and realized that doubt almost caused you to miss seeing God's hand at work? What helped you trust Him?
