🌸 A MOMENT for the Mom Who Keeps Everyone Going
Sometimes the person who needs a moment the most is the one making sure everyone else is okay.
We remember the appointments.
We answer the texts.
We figure out dinner.
We check on the children—whether they are 8, 18, or 38. 😊
We encourage everybody else.
And somewhere in the middle of all that caring, it is easy to forget to check in with ourselves.
So today, before you move on to the next thing, take a MOMENT.
Put the phone down.
Sit somewhere quiet.
Pour yourself something you enjoy.
And ask yourself:
How am I doing—really?
What am I carrying that I need to put down?
What happened today that I do not want to rush past?
And if faith is part of your life, perhaps ask one more question:
Where did I see God today?
It may not have been in some big, unmistakable moment.
Maybe it was a phone call that came at just the right time.
A good laugh with your child.
A quiet drive home.
An unexpected kindness.
Or simply the strength to get through a day that asked a lot of you.
Sometimes the moments we almost miss are the ones worth remembering.
Today's MOMENT:
Before the day ends, write down one thing you want to remember about today.
Not the whole day.
Just one moment. 🌸
